TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Paro
Arrive at Paro International Airport.
Meet your guide and transfer to your hotel in Paro.
Visit the National Museum of Bhutan (Ta Dzong) and Paro Rinpung Dzong.
Explore Paro town in the evening.
Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 2: Hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest)
After breakfast, embark on a hike to the famous Taktsang Monastery, also known as the Tiger’s Nest.
Return to Paro for lunch.
Visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples.
Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 3: Drive to Thimphu
Drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan (about 1.5 to 2 hours).
Visit the Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma (the giant Buddha statue), and Tashichho Dzong.
Explore the local markets and shops in Thimphu.
Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 4: Thimphu Sightseeing
Visit the Folk Heritage Museum, where you can learn about Bhutanese culture and lifestyle.
Explore the Textile Museum and the National Library.
Hike to the Tango and Cheri Monasteries for beautiful views of Thimphu valley.

Day 5: Drive to Punakha
Drive to Punakha (about 2.5 to 3 hours) via the Dochula Pass, where you can see panoramic views of the Himalayas.
Visit the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens at the pass.
Explore Punakha Dzong, one of the most stunning dzongs in Bhutan.
Overnight stay in Punakha.
Day 6: Punakha Valley Exploration
Visit Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the “Fertility Temple.”
Explore the beautiful Punakha Valley, which is known for its lush rice fields.
If time permits, you can go for a short hike in the surrounding areas.

Day 7: Return to Paro
Drive back to Paro (about 3 to 4 hours).
Visit the 7th-century Kila Goempa nunnery.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure or explore Paro town for last-minute shopping.
